The Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator (ASCA) hosted Pitch Day 2025 on Monday 3 November 2025 in Sydney NSW.

Following a Request for Information issued in August 2025, 30 Australian organisations were invited to ‘pitch’ their groundbreaking ideas on 2 themes, to an esteemed judging panel and audience comprised of wider defence stakeholders. 

The themes for the ASCA Pitch Day 2025 were: 

• Theme 1: Power and Energy seeks innovative solutions on energy sources for deployable and fixed sites, and agile operation capabilities.
• Theme 2: Acoustic Data Collection and Processing seeks innovative solutions on sensors, edge processing and high-performance computing for data processing.

Theme 1: Power and Energy

• Innovator Award: Energy autonomy at sea - Carnegie Clean Energy
• Blue-Sky Award: Microturbine Inverter Genset - ecoJet Engineering
• Best Presenter: Low observability, ultra-portable charging system - Emergent Group

Theme 2: Acoustic Data Collection and Processing

• Innovator Award: Phase-Based Distributed Acoustic Sensing - MKIV
• Blue-Sky Award: DeepWatch  - TKMS Sonartech Atlas
• Best Presenter: Nautilus Distributed Acoustic Surveillance System - Mission Systems
