On 18 September 2024, the Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator (ASCA) hosted the inaugural Pitch Day during the Australian Defence Science, Technology and Research Summit.

The competitive expression of interest saw 156 responses with 24 being invited to showcase their innovative idea through a 3-minute pitch to senior Defence officials and guests in the room.

The ASCA Pitch Day 2024 is the first of 2 per year that ASCA has committed to as part of the Defence Industry Development Strategy.
